Holiday cottage "The Butterfly garden"

A great holiday in a wonderful cottage at the foot of the dunes of Schoorl, "de Schoorlse Duinen".

Our cottage lies at the edge of the scenic area "DE SCHOORLSE DUINEN" on a small-scale holiday park at Duinweg 99 in Schoorl, the Netherlands. This quiet location between Bergen and Schoorl suits our cottage as starting point for nice walks and great bike trips. In July 2008 has the cottage been surrendered to us, with all the modern conveniences.

The wonderful garden has 2 terraces, accessible through the French doors.
Because of the exposure you may enjoy sun as well as shadow all through the day. The garden is laid out with many lavender plants and butterfly bushes.

The cottage has an L-shaped living room with a modern lay-out, which includes an open kitchen complete with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave combination oven, etc.

At the 1st floor you find 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds (box-spring) and large cupboards. You also find the bathroom here, with a luxurious cupboard, a roomy shower cabinet and the 2nd toilet. All windows at the 1st floor are provided with roll-down insect screens.

SCENERY.

A scenic area which is known for its many places where nature itself is free to do whatever it wants. Dune lakes, wild woods, drifting dunes, beautiful heather and a huge quiet beach.  It is a spacious area, so you will always find a restful place. In the high season there is also plenty of space available at the beach. It is a great place for those who are looking for peace and quiet and for sun worshippers.
Those who do not want to go far but enjoy anyway, avail themselves of the 2 terraces that belong to the cottage.
